JVK was founded on the conviction that institutional investors deserve a different kind of shareholder firm: client-centered, value driven, trial-ready, unafraid to give clear advice and take on the hardest cases. A firm that works together to create and add value while protecting the rule of law.
JVK is the only shareholder firm that combines an unyielding determination to put the interests of clients first with fearless, precedent-shaping trial work informed by deep governance insight. We are trial lawyers who understand our clients’ needs and who will devote our unmatched expertise to stand up for investors, create value, and hold corporations and corporate insiders accountable – inside and outside the courtroom.
We are a firm that actively strengthens the rule of law, advances accountability, and enforces the corporate governance and securities laws that all institutional investors depend on. Wherever we are and whatever we do, we provide clear, practical, and strategic advice in high-stakes and fast-moving situations, whether addressing misrepresentations to investors or a corporate governance breakdown. This enables our clients to protect their interests and the interests of their beneficiaries.
