Aasiya Mirza Glover represents institutional and individual investors in complex securities litigations and breach of fiduciary duty actions.

Full Bio

Aasiya focuses her practice on prosecuting complex securities fraud and breach of fiduciary duty actions on behalf of investors. She represents institutional and individual investors in federal and state courts and has been an instrumental member of litigation teams in significant securities actions, including In re Celgene Corporation Securities Litigation ($239 million recovery), In re Seagate Tech. Holdings plc Sec. Litig. ($175 million recovery), In re Qualcomm, Inc. Securities Litigation ($75 million recovery), In re Boston Scientific Corporation Securities Litigation ($35 million recovery), In re Meta Platforms, Inc. Securities Litigation (pending following denial of motion to dismiss insubstantial part).

Aasiya has extensive experience litigating complex civil actions for both plaintiffs and defendants. Before joining the firm, Aasiya was Senior Counsel at Bernstein Litowitz Berger & Grossmann LLP, where she represented institutional and individual investors in securities cases. Aasiya began her career at Debevoise & Plimpton LLP, where she spent several years representing defendant companies and executives in securities and breach of fiduciary duty actions, as well as in internal investigations and contract disputes; while there, Aasiya also spent several years representing investors and companies in investment arbitration under bilateral investment treaties and contract disputes, which routinely concerned claims for over a billion dollars.

She is an active contributor to thought-leadership on damages, expert evidence, procedure, and international investment, with publications in Bloomberg, Law360, Reuters, and the ABA Journal, as well as appearances on panels based in the United States and abroad on issues of damages, expert evidence and ESG investing. She is a member of Salzburg Global's International Law Fellows Network.

Aasiya also serves on the board of Muslim Advocates, a national civil rights organization that works to advance justice and equity for all, including the diverse Muslim communities. Aasiya's practice has also included substantial pro bono work, including in litigation before the Supreme Court, federal appellate and district courts, and immigration courts on issues concerning the death penalty, immigration, transgender rights, and federal overreach.

Aasiya is admitted to practice in New York and multiple federal courts, including the Third and Fifth Circuits.

Aasiya obtained her J.D. from the University of Chicago, an M.Phil. in English Literature from the University of Cambridge, and her undergraduate degree from Indiana University.
